We are going to the NY Fancy Food Show to meet with food vendors and vendors of food related Items. we want to showcase our online marketplace and platform to vendors at the show. The Fancy Food Show is North America’s Largest Specialty Food & Beverage Event located in New York City at the Javets convection center. Vendors will be showing off 180,000 products including confections, cheese, coffee, snacks, spices, ethnic, natural, organic and more. 2,500 exhibitors, 81 countries represented and 24,000 attendees.

Huntspoint.com will now allow vendors to be able to sell on huntspoint.com, vendor_name.huntspoint.com and the vendors actual domain name. One administration panel will allow vendors to manage their own products, shipping and other marketing elements.

Our intent is to offer the base application to vendors, list items and manage items for free. When a product is sold we will charge a commission of 10% to the vendor. 

We have developed huntspoint.com so that now Hunts Point will not only be the world largest food distribution center, it will also be the Worlds Largest Food Distribution Center Online. Our Food Marketplace will allow vendors to control pricing on a retail and wholesale level seperatly.

Our launch date is scheduled for July 1st 2010.
